Ukulele

Made from cherry grown in Kew Gardens and English sycamore. Veneers cut in my workshop and neck shaped by hand.

From about 5 years old I would go to Brighton with my great grandparents. In the car we always used to listen to a George Formby cassette and his music has stuck with me ever since (too much most would say!). I decided to make this ukulele in lockdown with some offcuts. While completely different to my normal work, it was very enjoyable. Now all I need to do is find a lamppost and some dirty windows. Turned out nice again.
